On 30 October 2008, the time had come. The Upper-Austrian company Harreither completed a further milestone in its success story of 26 years. With the opening of the Competence Centre at the company site in Gaflenz, a unique showpiece project was opened for its intended purpose. “Now we have all opportunities here that will be necessary for successful active selling in the future“, so Dr. Raimund Harreither, MBA, summed it up on the occasion of the opening. The Harreither Competence Centre, which is accessible to all interested visitors from now on, offers building owners and would-be building owners many opportunities to inform themselves. But the decisive advantage of this presentation facilities is the emotional field, as is explained by Raimund Harreither: “The longing for comfort is a deeply rooted need of people. In the Competence Centre in Gaflenz, however, this comfort is not only controlled automatically, but for purposes of demonstration, you can also switch on and off the individual room surrounding surfaces by hand. THE COMPETENCE CENTRE WAS BUILT IN ONLY FOUR MONTHS

From the middle of July to the end of October 2008, the new Harreither Competence Centre was built on an area of approx. 241 square metres. In addition to the presentation rooms and the comfort room, a conference room was integrated in the Competence Centre as well. After all, permanent training and further training constitute an important pillar of the corporate philosophy of Harreither.

One absolute highlight of the Competence Centre is its outstanding architecture: A glass facade of about 70 square metres emphasizes its role as a technical pioneer visually too. Furthermore the thermal properties of the entire building were optimised by means of state-of-the-art insulation technology. And as far as the inside is concerned, great importance was attached to a reduced, fine and modern design.
